And Jesus being in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat,
there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard, very precious,
and she brake the box, and poured the ointment on his head.  There were some among
the disciples who had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the
ointment made? for it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have
been given to the poor.  And they murmured against her.  And Jesus said unto them, Let
her alone; why trouble ye her?  For she hath wrought a good work on me. Ye have the
poor with you always, and whensoever ye will, ye may do them  good; but me ye have
not always. She has done what she could, and this which she has done unto me, shall
be had in remembrance in generations to come, wheresoever my gospel shall be
preached; for verily she has come beforehand to anoint my body to the burying.
Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the
whole world, what she hath done shall be spoken of also for a memorial of her.

Revelation 5: Handel Messiah - Worthy is the Lamb & Amen - Amen
Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for
thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of
every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.  KJV Rev. 20:12:
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books
were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:
and the dead were  judged  out  of  those  things  which were written
in the books, according to their works.    History, 1838–1856, volume D-1;
[1 August 1842–1 July 1843], Pages 1533-1534 So plain was the vision, that
I actually saw men, before they had ascended from the tomb, as though
they were getting up slowly.  They took each other by the hand and said
to each other, "My father, my son, my mother, my daughter, my brother,
my sister."  And when the voice calls for the dead to arise, suppose I
am laid by the side of my father, what would be the first joy of my
heart?  To meet my father, my mother, my brother, my sister;
and when they are by my side, I embrace them and they me.
This statement by the Prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., gives
a proper understanding to the words of Jesus Christ:

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet
ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and
say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your
Father; and to my God, and your God.
Mary
Magdalene came and told the disciples that
she had seen the Lord, and that he had
spoken these things unto her.
